Pics from 2006:

Highlights from the 4th Annual
Philadelphia Pherret Phestival!

The fourth annual Philadelphia Pherret Phestival has passed into history, and as we have now determined, it was the final ferret show for the Last Chance Ferret Rescue.

Here are just a few pictures from our final show:

Vet Checks

As in all of our previous shows, the vet checks were handled by our own Dr. Anna Edling, assisted by Elaine Leader. This year, we finally got a real picture of Dr. Edling, when she wasn't looking... and she doesn’t appear to be too pleased about it!

Judging

The judging is an important part of every ferret show. Shown from left to right:

  • A look down the line of ribbons and trophies for this year’s show.
  • First-time show attendee Regina Murphy waits patiently to show her ferret.

Fun Games

Probably everyone’s favorite part of any ferret show is the Fun Games. Thanks to Marty Morley and Jeff Beitzel for running the Fun Games all day.

Left:   Jeff Beitzel goes head to head with Sue Devenny in the socks competition, as Marty Morley officiates.
Center:   Jeff looks up as he realizes he’s falling behind in the competition.
Right:   Sue takes the win!

Vendors

This year’s vendors brought an impressive and unusual array of products.

  • The Ferret Store is all set up, and ready for the doors to open.
  • Stephanie Jamison is here again; she’s been a vendor at every PPP since the beginning.

You Don’t See That Everywhere!

The Morley family has become a major part of the Last Chance Ferret Rescue, and a staple at the Phestival. Here Cassie accompanies Marty as he grabs a cold drink. And Cassie shows that she’s a stylish lady in her pearls.
